Iranian actress Leila Hatami to sit on Cannes2014 jury. In a meeting on last week, she and Gilles Jacob (CEO of Cannes Festival) have been agreed on this. The 67th annual Cannes Film Festival is currently being held from 14 to 25 May 2014.[1] New Zealand film director Jane Campion is the head of the jury for the main competition section. Along with Leila Hatami, there are some known names such as Jane Campion, Carole Bouquet, Sofia Coppola, Jeon Do-yeon and 4 other names, which are in competition. But, the interesting thing is women in Iran are not allowed to touch any strange men. In the picture below you can see that Leila Hatami is kissing Gilles Jacob, which is very rare in Persian community. We’re wondering what would happen after she comes back to Iran. No more movies?
